What Being Rich Really Looks Like

I’ve just returned from Slovenia and, wow, what a trip!

There were so many brilliant moments, from white-water rafting and incredible mountain scenery to plenty of laughter along the way. But one of my favourite memories wasn’t something we’d booked or planned at all.

One evening, a few of us simply lay on the wooden decking outside our mountain hut and looked up at the stars. No phones buzzing, no rushing off to the next thing and nothing particularly exciting happening.

Just a group of people lying on a mountain in Slovenia, looking at a sky full of stars.

And it got me thinking about what it really means to be rich. The moments that make life feel full rarely seem to be about how much we own. They’re the experiences, the people, the laughter and those moments when you find yourself somewhere beautiful thinking, I can’t quite believe I’m here.

Sometimes, apparently, they’re as simple as lying on a bit of decking and looking up at the stars. 🌟
