Recommended Rechargeable Walking Torch

A firm Adventure Geek favourite

I’ve been using this particular torch since 2019 and I’ve never looked back. In fact, quite a few Adventure Geek members now have the same one.

Don’t be put off by the size. It looks chunky, but it’s surprisingly lightweight and incredibly bright, perfect for evening walks, night hikes, morning miracle walks, camping and those darker winter adventures.

One of my favourite features is the shoulder strap. You can simply let go of the torch when you need both hands free for climbing over a stile, opening a gate or rummaging around in your rucksack, without having to find somewhere to put it.

It’s also rechargeable and can double up as an emergency power bank to give your phone some extra charge when you’re out and about.  We are a bit “anti” head torches on our walks as they tend to blind people, so we ask that everyone brings a handheld torch for the winter walks.
