Building a Community
Adventure Geek is not just a walking club, it is so much more. Everyone is made to feel welcome, whether it is joining a quiz night for charity or entering our monthly photo competition. We are keen to support local businesses and promote the benefits of walking for our mental health.

#SupportLocal
Most of our walks end at a local cafe or pub. We prefer to support small local businesses rather than larger corporate businesses.
Photo Challenges
Our monthly photo challenges are created for everyone (not just members). The idea is to encourage people to look around and be mindful when outdoors. We've had some amazing results. See for yourself here.
#SupportSmallBusiness
We are keen to work with other businesses and support their work. From the Village EmporiumMagazine, to travel advisors, adventure companies, first aid companies, yoga and meditation businesses.
Speaking Events
Julia can often be seen at a WI (Women's Institute) meeting giving talks about Walking for Mental Health, or Inspiring talks about her adventures. Julia has spoken to various organisations from Rotary Clubs, to Gardening organisations. We are keen to spread the word about how walking is great for the soul.
