This was an easy listen for me, and the timing couldn’t have been better. I’d been feeling guilty about taking an afternoon nap while my to-do list sat there judging me… and this book gently told me to stop that nonsense.

The big takeaway for me was permission — backed by science — to embrace daydreaming, staring out of the window, watching the birds, being a bit silly, getting good sleep, and going for daily walks. I’ve always known these things were good for me, but understanding the “why” made all the difference.

If you feel overwhelmed by everything you need to do, or struggle to sit still for five minutes without feeling you should be doing something, this book is for you. Calm, reassuring, and quietly powerful — I really loved it.
