Every hiker and walker needs a sit mat (or arse pad!) in my opinion. I lost mine on the SWCP and I didn’t realise how much I used it until it wasn’t there!
This particular sit mat folds up and easily fits in your rucksack. It comes in a packet of two (so now I have a spare one for my day pack). They are waterproof, comfortable and ideal for those cold and wet benches/logs or ground.
