Camino Inglés – Ferrol to Santiago 2027

This is one of our Adventure Geek Travel holidays – a fully supported pilgrimage following the Camino Inglés from Ferrol to the magnificent Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.

Over six walking days we’ll follow the famous yellow arrows for approximately 70 miles through Galicia, passing through peaceful woodland, traditional villages, historic towns and beautiful countryside.

Along the way we’ll collect Camino stamps, stop at pilgrim cafés, share stories with people from around the world and experience the wonderful sense of community that makes walking a Camino so different from an ordinary walking holiday.

Your main luggage is transferred between accommodations, leaving you free to walk with just a day pack. You’ll also have daily route briefings and support throughout the journey – while still having the freedom to walk at your own pace.

And then comes that final walk into Santiago de Compostela. We’ll aim to gather before entering the historic centre so we can walk the final section together, arriving in the Plaza del Obradoiro and celebrating what we’ve achieved.

You don’t need previous Camino experience, but you should be comfortable walking longer distances on consecutive days. There are hills and some longer stages, so regular training beforehand will make the experience much more enjoyable.
