Amsterdam Uncovered: Bikes, Bites & Bright Lights

This is one of our Adventure Geek Travel holidays – a small-group city break designed for people who like to do more than simply tick off the tourist sights.

Over four days we’ll explore Amsterdam by bike, boat and on foot, discovering its history, food, famous canals and some of the more unusual corners of the city along the way.

Highlights include a guided bike tour, Dutch food tasting, an evening canal cruise, a fascinating look at Amsterdam’s Jewish Quarter and Anne Frank’s story, a guided Red Light District history tour and views across the city from the A’DAM Lookout.

There’s also time built in to explore Amsterdam your own way – whether that means museums, cafés, shopping, wandering beside the canals or simply watching the world go by.

🔵 Steady

City walking & cycling · Easy to moderate · A mixture of organised activities and free time

This is a sociable, active city break rather than a walking challenge. You should be comfortable spending time on your feet and cycling around the city, but the pace is designed to leave plenty of room to enjoy Amsterdam rather than rush through it.
