A social ride to Foxton Locks
Starting from Waterloo Farm Leisure on the Brampton Valley Way, we’ll follow National Cycle Route 6 towards Foxton Locks Country Park.
The route uses a mixture of cycle paths, towpath and quiet or cycle-friendly roads. At Foxton Locks we’ll loop around the Country Park, take a well-earned rest stop and then return the way we came.
At approximately 22 miles, this is an 🟠 Active Ride, so you’ll need to be comfortable spending a few hours in the saddle. This isn’t about racing or keeping up with the fastest cyclist — we’ll ride together, regroup when needed and enjoy the journey.
Friendly, social cycling without the pressure
Adventure Geek Cycling Club rides are social and supportive, designed for people who want to enjoy cycling without racing or feeling they need to keep up.
👤 Led by Paul Coxon

🚲 We ride together
No one gets left behind and the pace is set to suit the group. Routes have approximate mileage, allowing some flexibility depending on the group, conditions and how everyone is feeling on the day.
☕ Coffee stops
Where possible, we’ll stop at a café along the way — because good conversations and good coffee are part of the adventure.
